Toshinobu-dono's Hon Kozane Kebiki Odoshi Do Maru |

| These are pictures sent in by Toshinobu-dono showing the armor he is currently working on. It is made from hand cut and lacquered leather, which he punched and laced together in proper kebiki odoshi.
A tremendous undertaking that really looks outstanding! The hon kozane (scales) are cut from the leather, then marked and punched. Once lacquered, they are placed together, overlapping the scale beside it by half and laced with a leather thong called kawa shiki. The boards formed are then laced together using flat braid called odoshi. |
